Let me take a moment to tell you about the Berea Christian School. The school is truly a lighthouse in the community of Joyabaj. The humble beginning of the school started in a two-bedroom house, and taught mostly elementary students. The success of the school grew rapidly as child after child started enrolling in the program.
The school was eventually moved to a three-story building in the middle of the town. This was an awesome opportunity to add more school programs for both the youth and adults. The Berea Christian School was able to include a high school, provide college preparation classes, and adult life skill courses. The school provides individuals with the proper education to accomplish their life goals and learn, seek, and grow in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Currently the school is still operating, but has been threatened to be closed down if they accept one more pupil into the program, due to overcrowding issues. The community has started the construction of a new school building, but there is a lacking of funding to see the construction of the new school building though completion. The Berea Christian School is a place where children, youth, and adults come to learn and live a full life in Jesus Christ. This is your chance to help where there is a need.
