Pitch-it for Christ is a fundraiser that collects old cell phones and properly recycles them to raise funds for the Berea Christian School in Joyabaj, Guatemala. When you pitch your old cell phone , not only are you helping to raise money for those in need, but you are also helping to protect and preserve the environment. Did you know that one cell phone in a landfill can contaminate 158,000 gallons of water? In a time were there are 130 million old cell phones in American households you can recycle your old cell phone for a good cause.
The following is a list of products and items that you can pitch:
Cell Phone – working or damaged, every cell phone will be accepted and properly recycled
Ink Jet Cartridges – we accept ink jet cartridges only, laser or toner cartridges cannot be recycled
Laptop / Notebook Computers – every laptop/notebook computer - working or not, all hard drives are immediately removed and destroyed
Digital Cameras – working or damaged cameras are accepted
